I sent a dozen long-stemmed red roses to my aunt in Thunder Bay for a milestone birthday. I was a little concerned as I couldn't be there to see how they turned out. I needn't have worried. My cousin told me they were great. Then I spoke with my aunt. She was thrilled! She said they were beautiful: healthy, gorgeous to look at, and she'd placed them in the window looking out at the lake - pride of place.
